The picturesque village of Kames is placed within the Argyll Secret Coast, with easy access to many local facilities. Packed with places to visit and things to do: walkers, cyclists, sailors, sailing school and artists are all drawn to the area for its beauty. Abundant wildlife can be spotted, such as deer, buzzards, otters, golden eagles, red squirrels, seals and if you are very lucky, basking sharks. It is perfect for that truly romantic getaway. There is a local general store, pub & restaurant, cafe and church within the immediate vicinity.

Portavadie, 4 miles away, has a plush new marina, restaurant, health & beauty spa and infinity swimming pool or you can catch the ferry across to Tarbert to explore the Cowal Peninsula with ferries to the Islands of Gigha, Islay, Arran and Jura.
